24th December 2020 Every Year 24th December is observed as National Consumer Day 24 December 2020 with a specific theme in India. The theme of this year is “ alternate consumer grievance/dispute redressal”. The objective is to highlight the importance of the consumer movement and the need to make every consumer more aware of their rights and responsibilities. On this day the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 was enacted. The Act aims to provide consumers with effective safeguards against different types of exploitation, such as defective goods, deficiency in services, and unfair trade practices.

Christmas Day or Christmas is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated generally on December 25 as a religious and cultural holiday by billions of people around the world. Christmas Day is the beginning of Christmastide and the Twelve Days of Christmas (also sometimes called Twelvetide) that continues until Epiphany Eve on January 5. It is preceded by Christmas Eve which in some countries is the day of the actual Christmas celebration. It’s the most wonderful time of the year… almost! Christmas is nearly here and it’s a great time to start gathering ideas for activities and gifts. We are extremely thankful to everyone who sent gifts and shared the magic of Christmas with us. Squeals of excitement and delight were heard on Christmas morning. Although Christmas is a time of celebration, we also reflected on our Butterflies who never had the chance to celebrate Christmas with us and those who are celebrating Christmas in heaven. They are deeply missed by our Butterfly family but will be remembered forever.

You can play this game with champagne whistles and two bottles of champagne or any other New Year’s Eve beverage and drink vessels.
